STARTUP VNAU PRESENTED AT START-UP BW SUMMIT 2024 IN GERMANY
Enterprise Europe Network Ukraine together with EEN Germany, with the financial support of the German Ministry of Economics, Innovation, Labor and Tourism, selected 11 Ukrainian startups to participate in the Start-up BW Summit 2024, which will take place on July 8-11, 2024 in Stuttgart (Germany). Among them is the startup of the Chernyatyn Vocational College of Vinnytsia National Agrarian University - Combined machine for soil preparation for sowing row crops in small areas (inventors: college teachers Bohdan Shopʼyak, Valentyna Bilous, Oksana Ilyushchenko, Maria Shulgan). At the Summit, the VNAU startup will be presented by the Deputy Director for Academic Affairs of the college, Valentyna Bilous.
On July 8, a Ukrainian delegation of university and business representatives arrived in Germany. The visit began with a working meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Economics, Innovation, Labor and Tourism and the Start-up BW Discovery Tour, during which there was an opportunity to get acquainted with some ecosystems of southern Baden-Württemberg.
On July 9, representatives from 20 countries visited Karlsruhe University of Technology, located in Karlsruhe. They met at the Cyberforum as part of the international event “How to LÄND and EXPÄND in Germany”, organized by CyberLab and the European Digital Innovation Hub Karlsruhe (EDIH-AICS). The participants of the event had the opportunity to learn about the opportunities for startup development in Germany, exchange experiences and gain valuable knowledge on intercultural competence and integration. The participants also took a tour of the KIT Campus Nord with KIT-Gründerschmiede - one of the largest university startup centers in Germany, which works in the areas of digitalization, artificial intelligence, biotechnology, mobility and energy. Representatives of KIT-Gründerschmiede spoke in detail about the incubator for the development of innovative business ideas.
Then they visited Freiburg, where they got acquainted with its cultural heritage, historical development, economy and business ideas. Such exchanges and visits contribute to the intensification of international scientific cooperation and the development of innovative initiatives in the university environment.
