OPENING OF THE TRAINING AND PRACTICAL CENTER OF VNAU-MHP

On October 24, a significant event took place at Vinnytsia National Agrarian University - the opening of the VNAU-MHP educational and practical center.

VNAU is, without exaggeration, a recognized leader in the educational and scientific field of Ukraine. This is, first of all, high responsibility for the quality of service provision, training students according to the highest requirements and standards, which requires the team to be ahead in the formation of competitive specialists in the agricultural industry.

The management and highly professional team of the university are clearly aware that this is possible only in close real interaction with stakeholders - employers.

Thanks to effective cooperation with manufacturers, from year to year, VNAU is thoroughly increasing its capacity and confirming the status of a research-type university and is a platform for the implementation of educational, scientific, educational projects.

The cooperation between Vinnytsia National Agrarian University and the MHP agroholding became possible thanks to partnership relations, common views on strengthening and developing the agrarian sector of the state economy, on training highly qualified specialists in the industry, on the development and role of innovations in strengthening the state economy, as well as thanks to the friendly relations of two powerful statesmen, scientists, academicians - Hryhoriy KALETNIK and Yuriy MELNYK. The team follows such leaders and reaches new heights. 

Despite the difficult times for our country, the decline in development or even the decline of key industries, we are introducing innovations, strengthening educational and production capacities, thereby bringing victory closer.

The history of the successful partnership between the university and the agroholding began back in 2020. Numerous meetings, defining common areas of activity, discussing the terms of cooperation - and the MHP agroholding becomes a reliable partner of VNAU in the implementation of the pilot project of the Ministry of Education and Science - dual education.

As a result of professional consultations, the partners identified the main areas of cooperation, among which a significant place was given to the development of dual education, internships and advanced training of teachers, production practice of university and college students, acquaintance with the future profession during visits to the production facilities of the MHP agroholding, guest lectures by leading specialists, and exchange of experience.

A special stage in the VNAU-MHP partnership was the opening of the first educational and practical laboratory with modern equipment on the basis of the Ladyzhyn College of VNAU. And later, the partner made another significant gift - a tractor with a navigation system and a multifunctional seeder.

And a unique holiday gift for the day of the foundation of Vinnytsia National Agrarian University, of course, was the opening of the VNAU-MHP Educational and Practical Center, which presents sets of pneumatics, electropneumatics and smart sensors, allowing for simple modernization with the addition of hydraulic technologies, programmable logic controllers, pneumatic islands, vacuum equipment with interactive support of the educational process.

Hryhoriy KALETNIK introduced the guests who came to the opening of the center - People's Deputy of Ukraine Mykola KUCHER and Head of Vinnytsia Regional State Administration 2015-2019 Valeriy KOROVIY. 

The president of the university sincerely thanked Yuriy MELNYK and compared the cooperation with the agricultural holding for only six months with the support in the year of the university's foundation:
- Positions and titles are nothing compared to what a person lives for and how he sees his role in the formation of youth and students, in the development of the state, its authority. Thanks to such understanding and high awareness by Yuriy Fedorovych, we are implementing many joint projects today.

Yuriy MELNYK emphasized that the dream of the entire MHP team is that the established cooperation would be useful and effective for both partners and students:
- For us, this is another step in the implementation of our agreements on interaction with the university. Who benefits from this interaction? It is beneficial for everyone. First of all, the state, which will receive highly qualified specialists who will come with a completely different level of training, the student - who will receive a qualitatively different level of knowledge and skills, the university and, of course, production. If we take more such steps, and other companies follow our example, then we are on the right track.

As a sign of gratitude for the fruitful and effective cooperation, the Academic Council of Vinnytsia National Agrarian University decided to award Yuriy MELNYK the Honorary Title of University Professor.
