OPENING OF THE EDUCATIONAL AND DESIGN CENTER FOR AGRICULTURAL ENGINEERING – A JOINT PROJECT OF VNAU AND LLC "AGROMASH-KALYNA"

The success strategy of Vinnytsia National Agrarian University is based on a harmonious combination of modern educational technologies, scientific innovations and advanced production experience.

The opening of the Educational and Design Center for Agricultural Engineering - a joint project of Vinnytsia National Agrarian University and Agromash-Kalyna LLC - was a significant addition to the educational and research base for training applicants for engineering specialties, implementing dual, non-formal education, developing of startups, and implementing innovative projects.

The Center is an example of the successful integration of a powerful center of agricultural education and science and successful recognized production. The equipment of the Center is impressive:
• training stands of modern tillage and sowing equipment;
• 3D printer and 3D scanner, which provide the opportunity to model and create prototypes of working bodies of agricultural machines;
• multimedia system for interactive learning, etc.
President of VNAU Hryhoriy KALETNIK and Director of LLC "Agromash-Kalyna" Yuriy VASKIVNYUK solemnly opened the Center with a symbolic cutting of the red ribbon and officially began its activity.

"Today's opening of the Center is an important event for our university. This is a platform that allows our students not only to gain knowledge, but also to gain practical experience in real production conditions. This is the system that works in leading countries of the world, where the commercialization of scientific research by universities brings them significant income. We already have similar experience thanks to the Scientific Research Farm "Agronomiche" of VNAU, which implements the results of scientific research by our educational staff, postgraduates and students. Unfortunately, the state does not fully finance higher education institutions today, but thanks to the support of the partners such as Agromash-Kalyna, VNAU continues to develop its material and technical base and create new opportunities for students, to implement innovative systems for training applicants regardless of state funding," - noted Hryhoriy Mykolayovych in his welcoming speech.

Yuriy VASKIVNYUK, General Director of «Agromash-Kalyna», a graduate of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology of VNAU, noted in his speech that for him the opening of this center is the fulfillment of a long-standing dream. He expressed pride in the fact that it is the university graduates, many of whom today work in key positions at Agromash-Kalyna LLC, who have the opportunity to realize their professional potential thanks to the strong connection between education and production.

This center is a symbol of how education can be closely intertwined with production practice. We have always seen the need to train specialists who would not only know the theory, but also be able to apply their knowledge in real conditions. And today we see how this is becoming a reality. Every student who studied or plans to study at VNAU will have a unique opportunity not only to learn about the latest technologies, but also to use them directly. Agromash-Kalyna, as a leading enterprise in the agricultural industry, has always supported innovation and cooperation with the university, because the success of the enterprise is impossible without attracting the qualified specialists who graduate from such educational institutions as VNAU," Yuriy Mykolayovych emphasized.

The opening of the Educational and Design Center for Agricultural Engineering of VNAU-AgroKalyna creates new prospects for university students. The center will become a base for:
• practical training on modern models of agricultural machinery;
• conducting master classes and seminars on innovative technologies of mechanical engineering;
• implementing of informal education activities;
• implementing of a dual education system;
• improving of the skills of scientific and pedagogical staff of technical disciplines;
