History of Vinnytsia National Agrarian University
The most rapid development of our university is connected with the name of its current head Grygorii Kaletnik, who was appointed Acting Rector in July 2009. The number of licensed specialties and training fields of student preparation increased twice, a specialized academic council for the defense of dissertation works was opened for the degree of doctor and candidate of economic sciences thanks to him. There were striking changes in the material and technical base of the university, i.e. the educational buildings were repaired and warmed, the fifth building was transferred to the university's balance sheet, which resulted in the increase and modernization of the auditor's fund making it possible to move from two-shift study to one-shift. The number of computer classes has increased, their hardware has been upgraded, new technologies have been introduced to the educational process, and the university area and park area have been renovated.
Vinnytsia State Agrarian University was granted the national status by the Decree of the President of Ukraine of December 17, 2009 №1070 / 2009 for its significant contribution to the development of national education and science.
Grygorii Kaletnik was elected as rector of the Vinnytsia National Agrarian University at the conference of the labor collective in March 2010. Grygorii Kaletnik was elected as the president of the university in March 2013.
